Prof. Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi (June 30, 1960) is a Senior Cardiologist, professor, entrepreneur and social worker. Dr. Regmi was born at Palpa District of Western Development Region, Nepal. He was raised by his father Kamal Raj Regmi and mother Bimala Regmi.
Dr. Regmi received primary school education from Phoolbari Primary School, Tansen, Palpa and passed the School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C) from Padmodaya High School, Kathmandu in 1975. He did Intermediate of Sciences (ISc) education from Amrit Science College in 1977. He completed M.D. (General Medicine) with honors in 1985 from Kharkov Medical Institute, Ukraine.
After completion of his M.D. (General Medicine) Degree, he also completed M.D. (Post graduate specialization Clinical Ordinatura) in Cardiology in 1987, Kharkov Medical Institute, Ukraine. Dr. Regmi has been working as the General Secretary and Project Director of Nepal Heart Foundation, Executive Director of Nepal Rheumatic heart disease control program, President of Nepal NCD Alliance and Chairman of Nepal Heart Clinic. Now, he works at Nepal heart foundation central office Pulchowk, Lalitpur and Nepal Heart Clinic Pulchowk, Lalitpur as a senior cardiologist.
He has traveled more than 65 districts of Nepal and more than 40 countries including USA, Japan, Russia, France, and India. He can speak 4 languages Nepali, English, Russian, and Hindi. He married Upasana Regmi and lives a happy life with his mother, wife, and two daughters Dr. Jigyasa and Er. Bibhuti Regmi.

The target people are Physicians, health professionals, teachers , Female community health volunteers , mothers groups and students.
